Mike Giunta, Chief Creative Officer, GH Advertising
Mike Giunta wanted to be a writer since he was in the 3rd grade, long before he could even pretend that calling himself a writer was cool. With his love of words unwavering through high school, it only made sense that he would go on to pursue an accounting degree at St. Vincent College. He confused himself further by graduating at the top of his class and receiving job offers from several large CPA firms. Despite his English professor’s pleas to pursue a writing career, he became the worst kind of public accountant – the kind who pined to abandon numbers for words.
After a few years of begging, pleading, and writing for free to prove his chops, Mike got his big break at Blattner Brunner. The first thing he realized about his career change was that he no longer had to wear a suit or shave every day. And as long as long as his eyes were open, he could claim to be working, and no one could prove otherwise. But the best change was having the chance to come up with new creative ideas every day and collaborate with some extremely talented art directors.
Mike then joined GH Advertising and was soon named one of the city’s rising stars in Pittsburgh Magazine’s annual “40 Under 40” issue. At GH, he helped grow the creative department to become one of the most awarded agencies in the city, leading the creative team to win numerous local, regional, and national awards including ADDYs, Obies, and Communication Arts. Mike’s work has also been featured in Ad Week and Creativity magazines, and even a Swedish documentary. (Seriously.) He’s received five Best of Show honors in regional competitions, a few Judges Awards of Excellence, and four Mosaic Awards for promoting diversity in advertising. He’s also written for a local satirical news site and is on the Board of Directors of the American Advertising Federation-Pittsburgh
As the Chief Creative Officer at GH Advertising, Mike has distinguished himself for not only leading a talented team to deliver strategic, creative work, but also for his relationships with his clients and dedication to helping them solve their problems.

Mackenzie Smith, Creator Economy Consultant
Hey, I’m Mackenzie Smith: people person, influencer marketing enthusiast, and executer of big ideas.
I’m one of two strategic and creative forces behind the cohort- a creator community for the creator community. Like most marketers, I wear too many hats, but at the core, I help lead the vision and execution of the cohort’s growth. That means building partnerships, curating programming, and making sure everything we do actually serves creators.
I’ve spent the last 8 years in the agency world—working across Pittsburgh, Denver, and NYC—always with a focus on digital, social, and influencer strategy. I’ve been partnering with creators since my very first job out of college, and I haven’t stopped since.
I believe the future of the creator economy is less “spray and pray,” more intentional and relationship-driven. I’m on a quest to make influencer marketing feel a whole lot more human, and I don’t mind leading the charge.
